Mr Koh Yan Leng heads the University Campus Infrastructure office at the National University of Singapore (NUS). As Vice President (Campus Infrastructure), he leads the charge in creating an exceptional physical environment for the University – one that fosters innovation, sustainability, and an impactful student experience.

Yan Leng’s primary responsibilities include crafting and executing long-term plans for NUS’ physical growth and development. He manages construction and renovation projects, ensuring that new facilities align with the University's evolving needs while maximising the use of existing spaces. Besides overseeing the operation and upkeep of the University’s three campuses spanning 1.5 million square metres, he also plays a hand in ensuring that its retail and dining options, residential facilities, transportation services, sports amenities, and cultural offerings are integrated to form a smart, well and sustainable campus.

Yan Leng has also contributed to the campus’ larger driver towards greater sustainability, imbuing environmental consciousness in practices and initiatives throughout the campus. These include energy efficiency programmes, waste reduction strategies, and sustainable construction practices.

Drawing from a wealth of experience in general management, Yan Leng has previously made his mark in the aviation, hospitality, and higher education sectors. Over the course of his career, he has been deeply involved in operations, business development, and strategic planning across different organisational functions, and worked with global brands such as Singapore Airlines, Ascott Serviced Residence (under CapitaLand), and Far East Organization. These stints have taken him to various cities worldwide, including Auckland, London, Madrid, Shanghai and Sydney.

Yan Leng holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) Hons Class 2A degree from NUS.
