Nominations for the biennial NUS Alumni Awards can be made online from 1 January to 31 March. 2023 nominations are now closed. The next opportunity for submission will be in the first quarter of 2025.

Yes. There is no limit to the number of nominations you can submit.

You are encouraged to notify the nominee about the nomination and seek his/her consent. You may also obtain notable alumni achievements and volunteer service from the nominee to support your submission.

NUS alumni who meet the nomination criteria are welcome to put themselves forward for consideration.

All nominations are reviewed and screened for eligibility before evaluation by the Awards Selection Committee. The final list of award recipients will be published on AlumNET.

The selection committee comprises NUS President, representatives from NUS senior management, the NUS Alumni Advisory Board and selected past award recipients.

The Committee seeks outstanding alumni who have distinguished themselves in a profession or through community service. Recipients should be considered amongst the top of their chosen fields and have made significant contributions to NUS. 

The award recipients and nominators will be notified after the Awards Selection Committee has finalised their selection, typically in the 4th quarter of the year. Recipients will receive their awards at the Awards Ceremony. Additionally, recipients will be announced through various online and printed publicity platforms during and after the Ceremony.

In many instances, award recipients have been featured in NUS publications and approached to sit on management boards or to serve as mentors. The NUS Alumni Office may also invite recent award recipients to speak at relevant events.
