Event Details
In 2013, the National University Hospital (NUH), through the Khoo Teck Puat – National University Children's Medical Institute (KTP-NUCMI), partnered the RMHC Singapore to set up the Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Room programmes.
This close partnership has been built on the foundation of family-centredness in the care of a child – with the belief that while children are receiving the best medical care at the hospital, the needs of their parents and siblings are being taken care of at the same time.
The conference is organised in conjunction with the 10th anniversary of the Ronald McDonald House in NUH to promote family-centred care and demonstrate how it is delivered. The aim is to encourage healthcare organisations and social care partners to embed these practices in their services and build stronger collaborations for the betterment of the lives of the community they serve.
