In a rapidly evolving financial world, identifying emerging trends is key for investors seeking to stay ahead. This panel will bring together industry leaders to explore how trends in AI, blockchain, fintech, and sustainability are spotted and supported.

In this panel discussion, we aim to equip professionals with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of digital finance and investment, and provides a framework for lifelong learning to ensure they remain at the forefront of the industry.

  • Ms Reena Choo, Associate Director and Investment Advisor, Standard Chartered Bank
  • Mr Benjamin Lee, (Arts & Social Sciences ’06), Senior Advisor, Innovation Hub Singapore Centre at Bank for International Settlements

As an Adjunct Associate Professor with NUS Asian Institute of Digital Finance, Prof Edward Tay will provide a deep understanding of the underlying technologies driving these emerging trends and offer a framework for analysing their long-term potential, emphasising the importance of continuous skill development as part of lifelong learning.

With her extensive experience in investment advisory at Standard Chartered Bank, Associate Director Ms Reena Choo will offer practical insights into how these trends are playing out in real-world investment portfolios.

Representing the perspective of a key international financial institution, Mr Benjamin Lee, who is a Senior Advisor from Innovation Hub Singapore Centre at Bank for International Settlements, will provide insights into the regulatory landscape surrounding these emerging technologies and how these are impacting global financial markets.
