Event Details

NUSSU Trek and Connect 2026 is a guided nature walk held at the Singapore Botanic Gardens, offering NUS alumni a relaxed and meaningful way to reconnect with the student community. The sessions will take place on 7 and 28 March, from 8.00am to 11.00am.

Alumni will be invited to lead small groups of students along the scenic trails, where conversations unfold naturally through walking and shared experiences. Rather than formal talks or structured networking, the programme creates space for easy dialogue, personal sharing, and genuine exchange in a calm outdoor setting.

Through these conversations, alumni can share their journeys, perspectives, and insights with students, while reconnecting with NUS in a more personal and grounded way. Students, in turn, benefit from hearing real stories about life after graduation and different career paths.

Trek and Connect is designed to be a simple and fulfilling experience, where alumni give back through conversation and presence, and meaningful connections are formed naturally through time spent together outdoors.

Terms & Conditions

1. Registration for the event is on a first-come, first-served basis. Confirmation will be sent via email to successful participants.
2.  The organiser reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the event programme, including the route, timing, or grouping arrangements, where necessary.
3. In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather or safety concerns, the organiser reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event. Registered participants will be informed via email or other contact details provided during registration.
4. As this is an outdoor walking activity, participants are expected to assess their own fitness and participate at their own discretion. By taking part in the event, participants agree to assume responsibility for their own well-being during the programme.
5. Photographs and/or videos may be taken during the event for documentation and publicity purposes. By participating, attendees consent to the use of such materials by the organiser for non-commercial communications and promotional use.
