Event Details

YST Concerto Competition Prizewinner and Singapore Symphony’s 2025 President’s Young Performer clarinetist Chua Jay Roon (BMus4) takes the stage alongside the YST Orchestral Institute with Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto—a work of luminous lyricism and delicate expression that highlights the clarinet’s poetic voice. We then follow with Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5, a sweeping exploration of intensity, triumph and introspection.

Experience an evening that celebrates the emerging talents of Singapore’s next generation of musicians, and the dialogue between soloist and orchestra that brings each phrase vividly to life.

Supported by the Shaw Foundation Ones to Watch series.
