Event Details

Founded in 1988, the ensemble rose to international attention after winning 1st Prize at the International Competition for Brass Quintets in Narbonne and has since built a 35-year career as one of the world’s leading brass ensembles. SCB is dedicated to developing new repertoire, commissioning over 50 works, and has released six critically acclaimed recordings, including their recent album THEN, a collection of Renaissance songs and dances.

The ensemble regularly performs at major festivals around the world and remains passionate about education, giving masterclasses internationally and running their own Stockholm Chamber Brass Academy.
