In 2015, a law was passed in Parliament to introduce a legal framework for the conduct of human biomedical research (HBR) and the use of human tissue in research in Singapore. The Human Biomedical Research Act 2015 (HBRA) was implemented in a few phases by the Ministry of Health starting on 1st November 2017. ARCIO is dedicated to helping researchers navigate and comply with the HBRA.
