The NMRC Research Data Governance and Sharing Framework applies to NMRC-funded research projects with at least S$250,000 of direct cost, supported in whole or in part, including research co-funded with other non-public organisations. Grant applications seeking at least S$250,000 of direct cost are required to include a Data Sharing Plan and an endorsed Institutional Certification before the awarded project may commence.

MOH has partnered the Smart Nation and Digital Government Office (SNDGO), Government Technology of Singapore (GovTech) and Integrated Health Information System (IHIS) to set up the TRUST national platform to provide researchers with research and real-world data managed by different research institutions and public sector agencies. This data is intended to support healthcare-related and public policy research and ranges from genomic to behavioural to socio-economic data. TRUST functions as a trusted data intermediary to allow for safe, expeditious and secure sharing of the data. 

NUS researchers who are interested to access/use TRUST data may like to visit the TRUST website here and register for a member account to view the TRUST data catalogue.

The objective of this RDM initiative is to enable NUS to build a repository of research data which can be useful for NUS researchers and to help future-proof in a data-reliant world where our valuable research data is properly retained.
