Marriage registration online? It’s about time

Social expectations leading to social pressures surrounding weddings can be stressful for couples getting married. Dr Tan Poh Lin, Senior Research Fellow from the Institute of Policy Studies, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS, commented that having couples jump through fewer hoops may inspire more couples to pull the trigger on marriage and help them stay together longer. And online marriage registrations could help in making that possible.
