The Future of Money – Decentralised Finance
On the evening of 17 August, close to 200 participants turned up for an enriching and informative night on Zoom with guest speaker Mr Victor Liew (Computing ’12), Co-founder and CTO of Xfers, a Singapore-based payment company which launched the XSGD stablecoin that hit US$1 billion in transaction volume in merely four months.
Mr Liew captivated the crowd with his industry knowledge on decentralised finance (DeFi) and attendees enthusiastically took the chance to have their burning questions on cryptocurrency and the like answered in a riveting Q&A session that followed.
