NUS BIZAlum Reunion on Kent Ridge Alumni Family Day

13 August

NUS BIZAlum organised its first in-person reunion since COVID-19, in conjunction with Kent Ridge Alumni Family Day, on Saturday, 13 August. The reunion brought together alumni from eight different programmes and graduating cohorts, and was supported by Professor Jochen Wirtz, Vice Dean of MBA Programmes and Professor of Marketing, and Associate Professor Sam Yam, Head of the Department of Management and Organisation at NUS Business School. NUS BIZAlum would also like to thank sponsors Mr Kang Puay Seng (Business ’14), CEO of Gong Cha (Singapore) Pte Ltd, and Mr Bartholomew Ting (Business ’01), Founder of butterNmilk.

The reunion’s success was not possible without support from the volunteers of NUS MBA Programmes Office: Ms Catherine Xiang, Ms Megan Wang and Mr Paul Yong; the MBA Alumni Association: Mr Janesh Janardhanan (Engineering ’04), Mr Tan Jun Wei, Year 2 Computer Science student, Ms Andrea Coello (Business ‘22); and Mr Chua Hung Meng (Business ‘81) from NUS Business School Alumni Association. Thank you also to Ms Loh Hui Xian (Business ’09) for showcasing NUS BIZ School's mascot Tycoon – who was such a big hit with the NUS community, as many grabbed photo opportunities with the mascot to post on social media! Attendees of the reunion also received balloon sculptures and tried their hands at folding a Teddy coin box made out of cardboard, symbolising an intention to save one’s precious thoughts and cultivate them into innovative ideas for the good of tomorrow.
