They are the ‘everyday’ people you meet, your friends, your neighbors or even your family. You know them, but you may not see the real struggles buried deep underneath that smile they put on. Some plights you have seen but many, you have not. Listen to their untold stories and then you shall decide: Just a Bad Day or will you make it better?
Drawing from real life experiences, NUS Chinese Drama’s forum theatre aims to raise greater awareness about violence against women and to provide a fresh perspective to both women and men about how to take personal action against this.
她们是你的朋友、邻居或家人；她们就生活在你的周围。你认识她们，却不一定知道她们微笑背后的挣扎。或许你也曾听说过一些关于她们的故事，然而却不知道那可能只是她们所承受之其一。这一次，请与我们一起仔细聆听她们以往从不透露的倾诉，然后告诉我们：你我应该做的，是挥挥身上的尘土一笑而过，还是尽我们所能地做出改变？
此次国大戏剧的论坛剧场将目光放在了女性群体身上，通过生活实例，以全新的角度记录女性暴力的存在，并希望以此唤醒观众对于反对女性暴力这一话题的思考。
