Material Girl: Making Women, Women Making
Drawing on paintings, prints, drawings, and sculptures from Radio Malaya: abridged conversations about art and the NUS Museum collection, this tour explores the ways women have been represented, imagined, and remembered across artistic and cultural histories. Moving through images of workers, muses, mothers, cultural symbols, and self-fashioned subjects, the tour examines how ideas of womanhood are constructed through acts of looking and being looked at.
