We have the cause. You have the effect. Volunteering at NUS is a fun way to meet new people and get involved in your community. Students receive real-world experience and develop critical skills such as leadership, problem-solving and time management through community service opportunities.

Volunteering is one of the most valuable ways for alumni to get involved with NUS. Our volunteers are essential in influencing and maintaining the University’s philanthropic mission. Giving back brings them enormous joy and satisfaction, and we invite all alumni to join our volunteer community.
We have opportunities for you to make a difference through mentoring students, engaging with fellow alumni or becoming an ambassador for NUS.

Reunion & Class Giving Committee Member
Organise a meaningful reunion for fellow alumni while supporting your financially needy juniors. As a committee member, you will connect with fellow alumni, organise engaging events, and foster a culture of giving back. Together, we can provide opportunities and alleviate financial difficulties for your juniors, enabling them to pursue their academic aspirations.
Leadership Giving Volunteer
Become a beacon of change as a Leadership Giving Volunteer. Initiate and lead fundraising efforts as a Volunteer Champion, inspiring others in your network to contribute to a significant cause. Whether you are one of our NUS alumni or a friend of the University, your leadership in giving can create transformative experiences for current undergraduates.
As a Volunteer Champion, you engage in celebratory giving, marking special occasions like reunions or personal milestones while supporting NUS students. Tribute giving offers a way to honour a departed loved one or show appreciation for someone special, creating a lasting impact in their memory. Alternatively, affinity giving allows you to support areas close to your heart, from aiding financially needy students to rewarding academic excellence.
