The NUS Annual Giving team hosted a booth at the Bukit Timah Homecoming 2022 event held on 2 July.

With over 800 guests at the recent Bukit Timah Homecoming (BTH) 2022 celebration, the NUS Development Office (DVO)’s Annual Giving (AG) team raised awareness of NUS Giving and secured gifts, with a booth at the event.

Organised by the NUS Office of Alumni Relations, the annual BTH event reunites NUS alumni who studied at the Bukit Timah campus. DVO builds relationships with donors and students to foster opportunities and its AG campaign encourages alumni, students, faculty, staff and others to give on an annual basis, much like how they would plan for birthdays and holidays.

The AG booth had a mobile bar that served free cocktails and mocktails, such as the Singapore Sling and Aperol Spritz. An information desk was also set up, where the team gave out old-school biscuits in alignment with the event theme, Disco Fiesta, and copies of the NUS Giving Magazine. Details about NUS Giving were shared with guests, including how their gifts would help to support bursaries and scholarships for NUS students.

Guests could make gifts and receive limited edition tokens of appreciation. Funds raised for the AG campaign go towards university-wide bursaries and scholarships, the Enhanced Financial Aid Scheme, as well as faculty, school and hall of residence priority funds.
