Obedient Wives Club
17 Mar

Obedient Wives Club was conceived on the rooftop of a tapas bar and is fueled by guitarist Keith Tan’s almost unhealthy obsession with Phil Spector-inspired, fuzzy girl pop bands. By serendipity, newcomer YinQi Lee was brought in as vocalist, based on her penchant for polka dots, and a voice you’d want to make love to. Completing the lineup are Sulaiman Supian on bass and Lennat Mak on drums. Cherie Ko, with her candy sweet guitar lines, strengthened the band as the second guitarist. Obedient Wives Club intends to fill the fuzzed out girl group indie pop void that is missing from the Singapore indie scene.

Voix also performs show-choir style in a big group of around 20 singers, rocking the stage with their music and moves.

ITE That Acappella Group
23 Mar

That Acappella Group, or fondly known as T.A.G, is often introduced as The Pop Band without Instruments. Coached by vocal instructor Mr Dylan Foster, the group is quickly gaining recognition in the local a cappella scene; bagging 1st and 3rd placings in the National A Cappella Championships 2012 (College Category). Most recently, T.A.G was selected as the only Singaporean team to compete in the Busan Choral Festival and Competition 2012.

T.A.G brings to you an entertaining repertoire of pop classics, familiar tunes and catchy songs, like This Love by Maroon 5, Somebody That I Used To Know by Gotye and Somewhere Over The Rainbow from the classic movie Wizard of Oz.
