This programme is eligible for the Tote Board Arts Grant subsidy. All Secondary Schools, Junior Colleges, Centralised Institutes and the Institute of Technical Education (ITEs) may use the grant to subsidise up to 50% of the programme cost.

Featuring works by dancers who have travelled to various countries to work with established choreographers, this 2nd edition is helmed by Artistic Director Kuik Swee Boon and T.H.E Associate choreographer Kim Jae Duk. Solo / Duet offers the opportunity for a dancer to explore self within and without the context and constraints of culture.

In Maargam, alumni dancers of NUS Indian Dance return as choreographers under the guidance of Artistic Director Mrs Santha Bhaskar to introduce a new section/element to the traditional format – one where the dancer finds room, time and inspiration to create new movements and choreographies and play with dance - where freedom is not restricted to enacting a story.

Based upon stories written for Platform Campus in Singapore Arts Festival 2012 which was inspired by the completion of the Circle Line, student choreographer Samantha Eva Ho and student director Chen Yingxuan are mentored by T.H.E Dance Company and Playwright-Director Chong Tze Chien respectively to create a piece of work each.
