Come aboard for a journey of discovery! Based upon stories written for Platform Campus in Singapore Arts Festival 2012 which was inspired by the completion ofthe Circle Line and the significance of connections of various institutions in the circuit, student choreographer Samantha Eva Ho and student director Chen Yingxuan are mentored by T.H.E Dance Company and awardwinning playwright-director Chong Tze Chien respectively to create a piece of work each.
First introduced in 2010, our Face to Face platform was created to provide young and upcoming artmakers from the NUS CFA community a chance to further develop their talent by providing them professional mentorship, as well as resources to realize their creations.
Face To Face III also features award winning designers Lim Woan Wen (Lighting Designer) and Darren Ng (Sound Artist) who will be mentoring first time designers in lighting and sound for this production.
Platform Campus 2012 – Circle Lines was first commissioned for the Singapore Arts Festival 2012. The writers were mentored and scripts were edited by Chong Tze Chien, Ben Slater and Kaylene Tan.
