Scholarship/Bursary applications

Hall Points System
Current residents of Sheares Hall intending to continue their stay in Sheares Hall the following academic year, must compete for a place through earning points for participation in activities and attendance in major events in hall.
Sheares Hall awards points to every member in hall CCAs (committee, sports, culture or others) based on merit. Points are also awarded for attendance during major hall events such as formal dinners.

Note:
Meals cover only Breakfast & Dinner for 6 days a week. Meal plans are not provided during vacation periods. The Halls provide Asian style meals. Residents may also opt for Asian style vegetarian or halal meals. For examples of meals provided in the Halls of Residence, please click here. In the event that the catered meals do not meet your dietary needs, it may be advisable for you to select a hostel without a compulsory meal plan.
