E7 is a 8-storey R&D-based building that supports the development of collaborative programmes between the College of Design and Engineering and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Completed in 2021, E7 is instrumental in closing the gap in solving major healthcare issues through innovative technologies, serving as a hub for high impact collaboration between top researchers and industry, including clinical partners. With a diversity of expertise, E7 makes possible the development of cutting-edge technologies while boosting patient care. Some of the research carried out in E7 include developing technologies for early diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and infectious diseases.
Spanning a Gross Floor Area of 16,279 m2, the building comprises key facilities such as:
