The Student Leaders Affairs (SLA) subcommittee at PGPR is dedicated to enhancing the residential experience by identifying, recruiting, and nurturing student leaders. Through structured training sessions and leadership development opportunities, SLA empowers Resident Assistants (RA) and Cluster Leaders (CL) to acquire essential skills critical for their roles. Our goal is to cultivate responsible and proactive student leaders who create a positive and engaged residential environment at PGPR.
Key Objectives:
- Identify and recruit qualified CLs through a fair selection process.
- Develop CLs through training sessions centered on effective community leadership and cluster management.
- Organize leadership workshops for RAs, aimed at enhancing teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Eligibility:
Open to existing RAs of PGPR. Interested RAs can express interest in joining the committee to their Resident Fellows or Residential Life Office.
