🐰 Hop into Our Community Spirit! 🌟
PGPR is proud to unveil our newest addition: a dedicated space for rescued rabbits! 🐇 Collaborating with House Rabbit Society in Singapore (HRSS), the Rabbits Corner team provides opportunities for the residents to care for rabbits, get engaged and get involved in the initiative the group offers. It will also help like-minded residents to get connected. Since the establishment of the Rabbit Corner in 2022, we have cared for eight bunnies, most of whom have since found their forever homes.
Location: Flopper’s Dungeon room (Block 4 Level 2).
It is only accessible to volunteers.
Objectives:
Working closely with HRSS, we offer fostering care to the abandoned /rescued rabbits of HRSS in PGPR until they find the permanent home. Our initiative aims to foster in residents:
- Responsibilities
- Empathy and Companionate
- Self-esteem and Confidence
- Social Interaction
By getting involved and interacting directly with the animals, residents may also experience several well-being benefits such as reduced anxiety, reduced stress and improved mood.
Eligiblity:
We welcome anyone who is interested in joining this heartwarming initiative! Join us as a volunteer with various roles ranging from caregiver to event coordinator, and let’s help spread love, one hop at a time! 🤝 Volunteers are welcome to visit the rabbit pen and engage with the rabbits at their own pace.
More information on the next 'Volunteers Information Session & Handling Workshop' will be shared nearer to date.
