How do I connect to NUS Wi-Fi?
Simply log on to the NUS Wireless network (NUS_STU or NUS_STU_2-4GHz) in your room, apartment, lounge and other common areas seamlessly using your NUSNET ID. 

You can also enjoy seamless access to NUS Wi-Fi services by using the uNivUS App’s “NUS Wi-Fi Checker” feature which will help you find and connect to NUS hotspots effortlessly and provide instant feedback on Wi-Fi connectivity.


I'm staying in an air-conditioned (A/C) room, how does the payment works?
Air Conditioning (for Air-Conditioned Rooms) is offered on a pay-per-use model via the Electricity Vending System (EVS). The tariff will be pegged to but not exceeding the prevailing electricity rate which might be reviewed from time to time. Residents living at these hostels may purchase the air-con credits using credit cards (VISA or MASTER) online at https://nus-utown.evs.com.sg/.

I am locked out of my room. Who can I approach for help?
During office hours, please proceed to the PGPR Office of Housing Services for assistance. After office hours, you may approach Fire Command Centre (FCC) at Block 5, Level B1.

How do I change my room/request for early check-in/request for late check-out?
Room changes, check-in and check-out requests are all subjected to availability and may be payable depending on nature of request. Please approach the PGPR Office of Housing Services for assistance.

When can I apply for vacation stay and how does it work?
The vacation stay application will normally be open a month prior to the official check out date. An email notification will be sent out by the PGPR Office of Housing Services nearer to date regarding the details. You can lengthen/shorten your vacation stay and administration fees may be incurred.

How should I proceed to appeal for my accommodation if I failed to secure housing in my application?
Please reach out to Hostel Admission Services for further assistance.

How can I get a copy of my invoice/receipt/statement of proof for my hostel accommodation?
For copies of your invoices, receipts or statements of proof, kindly approach the PGPR Office of Housing Services located at Block 6, Level 2. Alternatively, please email them to request for the document.
