Feel-Good Friday Carnival

The Feel-Good-Friday Carnival, held on 28 June at the Central Library Forum, brought together a fusion of fun and fitness as NUS staff (and students) immersed themselves in an array of signature arcade games such as basketball, football, and boxing, as well as retro carnival games such as “Can Toss” and “Whack-a-Frog”.

The featured games brought a healthy twist to fun, encouraging participants to stay active while enjoying themselves at the carnival.

This was complemented with a fruit pack collection* drive for staff, another of the Unit’s initiatives to spur the NUS community towards healthy and thoughtful eating. Staff were treated to a colourful and nutritious combination of pink dragon fruits, cherry-red apples, and zesty oranges.

The vibrant atmosphere was enhanced by the live food and beverage stations onsite, which were enjoyed by more than 700 staff and students who visited the carnival.

As a form of encouragement for staff to participate actively in the games, a special prize redemption was introduced, for staff who challenged themselves and completed at least five game stations. This definitely created some buzz among the participants!

Participants also encapsulated their fun memories at the carnival’s photobooth, bringing back the photo as a keepsake from their little time-out from the office and studies.
