Open from now till 15 April 2022 for Academic Year 2022/23.
There are 2 parts to the application.
Application Part 1 (Deadline: 15 April 2022)
All students who have been offered SEP to a partner university in a European ASEM-member country by their faculties/schools in Semester 1 and/or Semester 2 of each Academic Year are able to apply once applications open.
For the application to be considered as fully complete, please complete a hard copy application (download the application form here).
Duly completed applications can submitted via email to email@example.com with the subject title: DUO-Out: [SEP Country]-[Semester] (e.g. DUO-Out: France-Sem 1). Keep the completed hard copy application form as you will need to submit it if you are shortlisted.
Application Part 2 (Only shortlisted applicants need to proceed to Part 2)
This award is very competitive with hundreds of applications for the selection of three pairs of incoming and outgoing students. Due to the high number of applicants, only shortlisted candidates would be informed to provide supporting documents. Those who do not receive any email notification by end-April can conclude that their applications have been unsuccessful.
Instructions to shortlisted candidates would be provided separately via email.
Please note that the DUO is NOT a separate exchange programme. It is a form of financial aid that aims to defray the students’ overseas cost. Only students who have already been selected for SEP by their faculties/schools and assigned a partner university in a European ASEM-member country need apply.
Applicants will be notified of their application outcomes via their NUS email addresses.
Awardees will be informed of the disbursement date during the announcement of the result.
