Physical (On-Site) Programmes

Students may be considering physical (on-site) programmes in 2024. Students' ability to travel to a country will be determined by the host country's travel policies as well as any updates to the latest travel advisory from Singapore authorities.To be eligible for physical (on-site) programmes, students will need to:

1. Complete the Travel Preparedness Course (TPC) on Canvas;
2. Register with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or your country's diplomatic mission; and
3. Attend a pre-departure conducted by GRO.

Electronic (Online) Programmes

Electronic programmes taken while physically in Singapore, whilst credit-bearing by the partner universities, are offered to NUS students for enrichment only. Course mapping and financial assistance are not applicable to any electronic summer programmes taken while physically in Singapore. Applications are to be submitted directly to the partner university offering the programme and application on EduRec is not required.

Hybrid Programmes

Some partner universities are adopting a hybrid format for their programmes in 2024, with some courses being offered online while others are being offered on-site. Please read the information above under 'Electronic (Online) Programmes' and 'Physical (On-Site) Programmes' when deciding on your options.

Global Relations Office (GRO) offers opportunities for students to broaden and enhance their undergraduate experience through global research attachments under the mentorship of world-class researchers. Students will have the chance to live in another country and conduct research in a different academic/research environment through summer research exchanges offered by NUS’ partner universities.

The programme dates for the next summer will be posted progressively when we receive updates from the partner universities. You may refer to the information currently listed as reference.

Remarks: NUS undergraduate students must have a clean disciplinary record and be a strong ambassador for NUS and Singapore in order to be eligible for these programmes.
