Picnic at Kent Ridge Park with our Global Student Ambassadors
Whether you are an exchange student who has just arrived in Singapore, or an NUS student who’s keen to make new friends, our NUS Global Student Ambassadors (GSAs) have something for you!
Our GSAs plan social activities which provide opportunities for inbound exchangers and NUS students to mingle, all while helping our inbound exchangers settle in to life in NUS and Singapore.

Join us as a Global Student Ambassador!
Are you an NUS student who has enjoyed your study abroad experience? Want to help international exchange students navigate student life at NUS? Or simply want to share your knowledge with outbound juniors? Join us as an NUS Global Student Ambassador!
Our GSAs:
-
Facilitate the organisation of social/integration activities for exchange students,
-
Answer questions about study abroad programmes via email, Discord, or in-person at the Global Lounge,
-
Lead campus tours for international visitors, and
-
Support other NUS Global initiatives (e.g. support NUS Go Global Fair, NUS Open Day).
Recruitment typically starts at the end of Q1 and the role is a minimum one academic year (i.e. 2 semesters) commitment. Full-time NUS undergraduates (i.e. not on LOA or internships) are welcome to apply.
1. I’m an incoming exchange student at NUS. How do I apply to join these activities?
Look out for our emails in your inbox! These will be sent to the email address used during application, as well as your NUS student email. All exchange students visiting NUS for the upcoming semester will automatically be added to NUS Global’s mailing list. Do remember to check your spam folder too!
2. I’m an NUS student who would love to participate and help out on an adhoc basis at NUS Global events. Where do I sign up as a buddy volunteer?
We will send out an email to all NUS undergraduate students at the beginning of each semester. Subscribe to be on our buddy volunteer mailing list, and receive invitations to our events!
