To all my fellow KEVIIans, I hope that you are looking forward to the upcoming academic year. We have big plans this year and we hope that you are as excited as us! Let’s go KE!!

As Vice-President, I manage the backend processes of the hall. KEVII is a hall of opportunities, where you can pursue your passions and step out of your comfort zone. I am truly grateful for everyone I have met here, and look forward to working closely with my team as we strive to make KEVII your second home!

"yey! :D"

"What does the Hon Gen Sec do?" While my work may be behind-behind the scenes, I do my best to ensure the smooth operations of hall activities, and keep you updated on what’s happening around hall (so if you don’t know what events are going on then I know you didn’t read my WUTW >:() Hope everyone enjoys their time here in KE!

"Money is only a tool. It will take you wherever you wish but it will not replace you as the driver."

Money drives everything, everything but ambition. As the finance director, I hope to be able to assist passionate residents who have a vision, to support them financially and to ensure that money and funding are the least of their concerns.

“Hard work over talent”.

With KE7 being known as a hall of opportunities where residents can and in fact are encouraged to try new activities, many of the leaders here value someone who is not afraid to put their best foot forward as they step out of their comfort zone. As you try your hardest at every new thing you want to, my team of CCAs and I will aim to provide you with a home away from home where you feel safe, comfortable and are able to have fun.

As the Social Affairs Director this year, I am excited to work closely with the social CCAs to organize activities that contribute back to society and provide a fulfilling and meaningful experience for KEVIIans. I look forward to making new memories together and having a great year in hall!

“We all self-conscious”.

Calling myself the cultural director sometimes feel like false advertising. The real people who create the culture are my CCA members who put themselves out there to express their creativity and share it on stage. As the “Cultural Director” my role and goal are to facilitate as much of that as possible, to inspire and enable the residents to step out, pick up or start something they’ve never tried before. We’re all self-conscious, so why not we all put ourselves out there.

“There's a lot that I don't know, but you learn when you don't know”.

Hii! As the Productions Director, I support the four production CCAs in KE: Amplitude, Chinese Drama, Hallplay, and The Dream Composition. As we look ahead to the upcoming year, I am truly thrilled to present an even more captivating and comprehensive showcase of our productions. Join us and show your support NOWWWW!

"Treat people the way you want to be treated".

Good morning KEVIIans! As the External Sports Director, my main role is to work closely together with my Internal Sports to help make sure sports captains are well taken care of (and of course on task too!)

I also make sure my signature is on the general RnR of IHG!

SPECIAL THANK YOU TO MY CAPTAINS WHO ARE DOING SUCH A GREAT JOB

As the Internal Sports Director, I primarily manage the administrative obligations regarding the 17-odd sports that are under my purview! These include administrative matters, KEIPs points and (assist the Finance Director for) Coaching Payment matters. As an extension, I work closely with the External Sports Director to further and improve the sports scene in hall. For the current/coming AY, we plan on introducing new things and ideas to reinvigorate the sports scene in hall!

As a member of the JCRC, I try to balance both the needs and wants of the individual sports as well as the aims and direction that the JCRC wishes to adopt. So, while I am the voice of sports for their requests to be heard by the JCRC as a collective, I also maintain fairness and professionalism so that the hall can collectively move forward across all sectors. With our goal to make KE7 a hall of opportunity, I would like to introduce things that encourage residents to take up more sports and challenge their comfort zones!

“Vision without execution is just hallucination”

This catapults the hall’s marketing potential and the value of securing funds and sponsors for events to far greater heights than before. As Marketing Director, I oversee our outreach and publicity efforts, fundraisers and sponsorships to make hall life more enjoyable for all!

“Making memories to last a lifetime”.

Serving as the Media Director this year has me excited to bring memories and events to life. From a small photoshoot to a full-size live hall event, I’m here to bring unified media services to an increasingly cohesive hall and elevate the KE7 experience. This post would only be possible with my talented technical teams; Vision, Motion, HPB and CMB, who embody the very ideals of professionalism and domain-specific prowess.
