“It’s better to try and fail than to never know and always wonder”

Stepping up to the challenge of leading a hall is never easy, but this is definitely an invaluable experience that I will not have once I graduate. I hope that this inspires others to take on any challenges they face in life, strive to do better, and try out something new!

“Only our parents’ children are always right.”

There is still a lot of uncertainty during this period, but one thing's for sure: if you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always gotten. Don't be afraid of the unknown, you'll never know until you try!

“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”

As the person behind the scenes, I (humbly) devise the backend infrastructures for the day-to-day activities and events all of you get to enjoy. Don’t look back and live your KE Life to the fullest!

“Believe you can and you’re halfway there.”

Helming the role as finance director this year, my goal is to help to fight for the resources you’ll need to make hall life a more vibrant and enriching experience for everyone. Let’s all enjoy our time here in KE thoroughly and make new memories together!

“We need to believe we’ll become the one that we want to become. For example, if we want to be attractive, first we must believe that we are very attractive. Whether you believe in opportunities or not, if it’s not the right time for you, it will come someday.”

Hello KEVIIans! I hope that everyone enjoys their stay here at the hall of opportunities. I will work hard together with my team of CCA leaders to ensure that your welfare is taken care of!

“We rise by lifting others”

Hello! My role as the Social Affairs Director is to support the social CCAs - External Relations Committee, KEVIIing Back, OCIP Cambodia and OCIP Laos, in engaging with the community beyond KE. Through our efforts, we hope to contribute back to society, and provide a fulfilling and meaningful experience for KEVIIans!

"Be kind to one another"

Heyo friends! As the Cultural Director this year, I'll be working closely with the cultural performing arts CCAs to bring KE more live performances and to further promote our arts scene within NUS. We hope to provide a welcoming safe space that invites our residents to actively participate in the performing arts. Hope that you enjoy your stay in KE!

“Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it”

As we transition to a post-covid pandemic time, the production CCAs are similarly transitioning to live shows. The 4 productions, The Dream Composition, Hallplay, Chinese Drama and Amplitude, holds a special place in KE7’s culture. Each has a unique flair and are masterpieces of their own. I hope everyone can support them!

"All you ever wanted, is on the other side of fear."

Overcome fear, surpass your limits. Darkness is temporary, you are a radiant beam, shining like Stars in the night.

“Today is your opportunity to build the tomorrow you want.”

As sports director of KEVII, I am here to encourage all athletes and budding athletes of KEVII to find their place in KEVII hall. Train hard, forge bonds, and weather through storms as a team and emerge stronger as individuals and as a team!

“Vision without execution is just hallucination”

King Edward VII Hall is finally back in full blast—camps, CCAs and events have all turned physical. This catapults the hall’s marketing potential and the value of securing funds and sponsors for events to far greater heights than before. As Marketing Director, I oversee our outreach and publicity efforts, fundraisers and sponsorships to make hall life more enjoyable for all!

“True beauty lies within.”

We capture the moments in our lives through media, be it through photos, videos or even Instagram. This is so that we always have something that we can look back to and remember those pockets in time. With restrictions easing significantly and many events are reverting back to physical, media will play an important role in capturing and celebrating these moments. As this year’s Media Director, I can’t wait to see how the year will unfold.
