Peer Support Group (PSG)

The Peer Support Group is a new initiative that offers support to enrich the lives of our Hall residents, conceptualised and pioneered by a group of residents. This group exists to further our goal of ensuring that residents have a meaningful and fulfilling experience at the Hall and the University. Together, they further cultivate an approachable and trusting environment for students in need to seek support. This is in line with the Hall’s goal of ensuring that residents have a meaningful and fulfilling experience at the Hall and the University.

Peer Support Leader

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Establishing good relationships with residents (i.e. through active participation in Hall activities)
- Providing support to peers (e.g. guiding them to suitable resources)

Given the nature of the work, expectations for Peer Support Leaders include the following:

- KEVII Hall resident who has stayed in the Hall for at least 1 Academic Year
- Active participation in Hall/Residence life
- Evidence of effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Keen interest to engage with the residential community
- People-centred and ready to interact with others
- Possess the maturity for pro-active problem solving

Interested applicants are invited to look out for the application period at the end of every academic year.
