Event Description
CHILLOUT X 35TH, a concert production Temasek Hall (TH) Threshold, provided performers with the opportunity to explore their distinct musical identity through sound and tone in their unique bands for a live audience. CHILLOUT X 35TH showcased a total of 35 musicians from THreshold, with nine alumni performers. Majority of the alumni are past THreshold heads from various previous batches. Some of them are still NUS students, but they have since graduated from Temasek Hall. All performers, past or present of THreshold members poured their heart and soul by dedicating hours into this grand production at SCAPE, The Ground Theatre to celebrate Temasek Hall’s 35th anniversary on 14 April 2023.
Representing two bands “Ginger” and “Fossils”, the alumni wooed and engaged the crowd with their musical prowess on stage, encouraging their juniors to watch, learn, and grow. It was extremely meaningful to host them as part of Temasek Hall’s history with the largest and grandest CHILLOUT to date, a grand audience of 350. Hall Master Assoc Prof Victor Tan contributed his own medleys by sportingly serenading the crowd during the short intermission.
