PvP 24/25
Event Description
On 28 December 2024 and 4 January 2025, we were privileged to welcome home 100 cherished alumni to our annual Past versus Present (PvP) event. The event represents an opportunity to renew and strengthen the bond of our TH sporting community. This year, to increase the diversity and participation of our alumni and residents, we expanded the range of sports, introducing sports such as badminton, volleyball and squash. It was heartening to witness 180 residents compete intensely while upholding the highest level of camaraderie.
While our alumni team ultimately emerged victorious in most matches, our residents persevered and fought valiantly, demonstrating their growth and determination. Their efforts to close the gap with the alumni team were particularly inspiring, highlighting their unwavering commitment to excellence.
This year’s PvP was not just about winning. We celebrated the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and continuous personal growth. As our alumni community grows, we aim to broaden the scope of this event further by introducing even more sports to involve more alumni and residents. We are confident that PvP will only continue to be more exciting and impactful in the future.
We invite everyone to join us again in our next PvP, as we continue to foster a culture of rigorous sportsmanship and create lasting memories for our residents, past and present.
