Young Tax Professional of the Year offers you an opportunity to confidently take your career further – faster – in tax through insightful and engaging programming.
We will challenge your technical abilities and wider commercial strengths – do well and you could become a global finalist representing Singapore at the EY Young Tax Professional of the Year global finals.

Who are we looking for?

• Singapore citizens/residents or international students studying full-time in a Singapore based university

• Registered full-time undergraduate students or full-time master’s students, who are graduating in 2026 or later

• Students with no more than 1 year of formal working experience (excluding internships)

• Open to students across all disciplines

• Strong and consistent academic track record

How can I apply?

Upload the following documents together with your online application:

• Detailed resume + a statement (in not more than 200 words) the career and personal goals you have for participating in the Young Tax Professionals of the Year Competition

• A copy of your latest university transcript

What happens after I submit my application?

Eligible applicants will be invited to the local YTPY Information Session happening on 2 Sep 2025 at 1130am or 3 Sep 2025 at 530pm via MS Teams.

Eligible applicants will also receive a preliminary case study to complete.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview to determine the finalists.

The finalists will participate in the local YTPY Finals and present their case study response in person.

• First place: S$2,000 cash prize

• Second place: S$1,000 cash prize

• Third place: S$500 cash prize

The winner for the Singapore competition will also represent EY Singapore in the Global YTPY competition expected to be held overseas in early 2026.
