CFG2101 offers undergraduates the opportunity to pursue minimum of 10 weeks local or global internships during the summer vacation period and obtain course units. These internships can be technical, general and/or interdisciplinary in nature, and need not be related to the students’ major or discipline.
Students will have the flexibility to integrate an internship component into their curricula and the opportunity to pursue an interdisciplinary or overseas internship.
Through the internship, students can gain work experiences, apply what they have learnt in school, acquire skills on professional ethics and build their collaboration skills.
After this course, students will:
- Familiarise with the job search process and learn how to tap on various career resources and platforms
- Put their personal branding, interview, resume, and cover letter writing skills into practice
- Apply skills and knowledge learnt in the classrooms to the working world
- Acquire useful work experience, workplace skills and industry knowledge
