Speakers: 

Kevin Chng holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the National University of Singapore. During his research stint, besides using in vivo and in vitro techniques to study Microhemodynamics, he also sought to incorporate AI into his studies, which sparked his initial interest in it. Today, he is the Head of the AI Apprenticeship Programme (AIAP), an AI Singapore flagship apprenticeship programme to develop local AI talents.


Kenny Chua graduated from NUS in 2020 with a PhD in ecology. Keen to pivot his quantitative expertise from academia to industry, he embarked on a transformative journey as an apprentice at AI Singapore. Today, he is the Assistant Head of the 100 Experiments programme at AI Singapore, where he leads teams to build tailored AI solutions for industry customers. Kenny is passionate about helping others make similar transitions into AI careers.
