Location: Arup, 182 Cecil Street, #05-01 Frasers Tower, Singapore 069547

What if the materials we discard today could shape the design of tomorrow’s Singapore?

On our increasingly land-scarce island, how we use materials matters more than ever. We’re pleased to invite you and your guests to Future of Making: Material Matters, presented as part of Singapore Design Week 2025.

Through a curated display of artefacts, immersive audiovisual content, and innovative works by local researchers, explore how speculative design and cutting-edge practices can turn waste - such as everyday materials like glass and timber - into valuable resources, creating spaces that are not only sustainable, but also beautiful and enduring.
