Level Up Your Resume with ChatGPT

Drafting compelling resumes can be tedious and time-consuming. Having to consolidate your skills and experiences into a succinct document, and making it relevant and tailored to a specific industry or company, is no easy feat. Fortunately, with the proliferation of advanced language models like ChatGPT, drafting resumes can become much less daunting. These AI tools possess the remarkable capability to generate text resembling human language. With effective prompting, they can sharpen your resume drafts, reducing the time and effort required on your part.

In this workshop, we will delve into the use of ChatGPT to draft effective resumes that will be further finetuned by the human hand to leave a lasting impact on prospective employers.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Gain insights into the role that ChatGPT can play in resume-drafting
  • Learn effective prompting strategies for resume optimisation via ChatGPT and walk away with practical frameworks for future usage
  • Learn about the limits to the usage of ChatGPT
  • Address important ethical considerations associated with the use of ChatGPT for resume creation

This workshop is designed for students seeking to harness the capabilities of AI tools like ChatGPT to empower themselves and increase their productivity in resume drafting. Join us to acquire valuable knowledge and practical skills, all within a friendly environment complemented with light refreshments.

Spaces are limited for this session and undergraduate students are given priority booking. Postgraduate students interested to attend may please register for the waiting list.
