Joshua Teo
Mr. Joshua Teo
Head, Group Strategic Talent Acquisition, Singtel

Joshua Teo is currently the Head of Group Strategic Talent Acquisition for the Singtel Group including Singtel, Optus and NCS.

Joshua started his career with the Boston Consulting Group for Southeast Asia (SEA) based in Singapore. Thereafter, he joined Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) in their Strategy team in HK, responsible for strategy across North East Asia and internal M&A in China. He moved back to Singapore with SCB, to lead strategy for SEA’s retail bank. He subsequently moved to China with SCB to be the Managing Director, first for Retail Channels and then for Retail Sales and Distribution for East China. 

He subsequently returned to Singapore to join Egon Zehnder in leadership consulting, before leaving for Hong Kong to join Prudential Corporation Asia as the Regional Director for Strategic Talent Acquisition and Projects, responsible for recruiting the C-suite of Prudential. He returned to Singapore in 2021, where Joshua was a Director in Temasek responsible for the Non-Executive Talent Portfolio.

He is a graduate of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore with a BA in Applied Economics, MA in Economics and Finance from Brandeis University in Boston MA, and MBA from the University of Chicago, Chicago Il. He is a qualified coach from WABC.
