About the Speaker

Shin Y. Lee
Former CEO of Pictet Asset Management Singapore
Shin spent almost 15 years at the Pictet Group, a leading independent investment firm headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. She initially joined Pictet Asset Management in London in 2009 as a Product Specialist for Emerging Market Debt. She later transferred to Singapore and spent two years in intermediary sales and five years as a fixed income product specialist before being appointed Chief Executive Officer of Pictet Asset Management (Singapore) Pte Ltd on November 1st 2017. In this role, she oversaw PAM Singapore’s activities and was the key local contact with institutional clients in Singapore. She was also PAM’s representative in all dealings with local authorities, regulators and suppliers. Shin started her career at UBS in London in the UBS Delta team, which provides portfolio advisory services to institutional clients. After a year in London covering UK and European clients, she was transferred to Singapore as the team's first representative in the Asia-Pacific region. Before joining Pictet Asset Management Shin spent a year as the Programme Director of SEO London, a non-profit organisation which provides training, mentorship and internship opportunities in investment banking and technology to university students from underrepresented backgrounds. Shin holds an MEng degree with First Class Honours in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London.
