2024 Bloomberg Academy Programme (Data) - Singapore

Bloomberg Academy (Data) in Singapore is an outstanding 4 day personal and professional development programme for high potential STEM related degrees University students who will be graduating between September 2024 and August 2026 and who are particularly interested in a career in Bloomberg Data department. During the programme, you’ll also have a chance to meet and hear from our Data employees to learn about what we do here and how to apply for our graduate opportunities.

You will be exposed to a wide array of topics, people and activities. We will cover everything from Bloomberg Terminal functionality, enhance your programming and data analytics skills, and more! You will learn from some of the best in the industry and know how to apply this knowledge in a practical, fast-paced business environment.

Dates: July 30 - August 2, 2024
Venue: Bloomberg Singapore Office

You will need to be available to join us in-person and have the right to work for the full duration to be considered. Please note travel and accommodation will not be provided.

You’ll need to be:

• Graduating between September 2024 and August 2026
• Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or other STEM related field
• Experience using technical skills such as programming, data modeling and statistical methods to solve problem
• Ability to prioritize and adapt to tasks accordingly
• Collaboration skills to work across departments and with global teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Right to work in Singapore for the duration of the Bloomberg Academy (Data) - Singapore

We’d love to see:

• Previous work, internship and/or academic experience in data analysis, financial market research and/or information technology
• A passion and curiosity about financial and economic data with the aspiration to work in the financial/fintech services industry
