Delivered in an interactive format, the Heart of Leadership programme comprises a series of 4 compulsory workshops, and deep dives into the core ingredients for effective leadership, equipping participants with the skills and attributes to create lasting impact.
Heart of Leadership workshops are conducted by established senior executives who have on average more than 20 years of work experience. Students have the invaluable opportunity to be mentored, in small groups, by these industry mentors. They learn from actual work situations and experiences, gleaning key life skills that are valuable for success at the workplace and beyond.
Each 3-hour workshop will include a group mentoring session with an assigned mentor. There will be a total of 4 such sessions over 4 Saturdays.
Topics include:
- Discovering purpose; redefining success
- Personality differences and EQ
- Trust and integrity in practice
- Servant leadership
Applicants will be selected based on:
(1) Timely submission of latest resume for mentor-mentee matching purposes
(2) Commitment to attend all 4 workshops
There will be 1 run of this programme each semester. Registration for the AY 24/25 Semester 1 run has closed. Registration for Semester 2 will commence in Nov 2024. Please look out for the email invitation.
