Do you aspire for a career in consulting? Then join us in this workshop to master case interviews, a common assessment tool adopted by consultancy firms. The workshop will be led by case interview expert Daniel Sia, a former Bain Consultant in Southeast Asia and Australia.
This workshop will familiarise you with key strategies for approaching case interviews, case structuring foundations, case math, and provide you with a chance to practice a full case in a group and receive valuable feedback from the facilitator.
The session will be concluded with a brief tour of CaseCoach, during which we will discuss how to efficiently and effectively utilise the platform to prepare for case interviews. All NUS students can register for complimentary access to the CaseCoach platform.
Through this workshop, you will have:
- An introduction to case interviews, including where it is used, why it is used, format, competencies assessed
- A full live case practice as a group, start to finish
- A deep dive into case structuring, including what is structuring, what a good structure looks like: the AIM test, key academic frameworks
interactive case structuring practice with 4-5+ case questions and coach feedback
- A deep dive into case math with interactive practice, including 2-3+ math questions and coach feedback
- Insights on how to prepare for success, including what a well-prepared candidate looks like and how to use the CaseCoach platform to prepare

Who should attend?
- This session is targeted at students who have some experience with case interviews. It is advised that participants have practised a minimum of 10 cases before attending this workshop to maximise their learning.

Daniel Sia is a case interview expert who spent over 5 years as a Consultant with Bain & Company in Southeast Asia and Australia. He worked with clients in many industries including Financial Services, Mining, Airlines, Telcom, and Private Equity, and across Strategy, Performance Improvement, Digital Transformation, Commercial Due Diligence. He has coached hundreds of candidates with offers secured at McKinsey, Bain & BCG and many other firms across APAC, Europe, US and Canada.
