Nicolas Leong is the Energy Business Director, North & Southeast Asia at Wärtsilä. In his role, he leads the sales and business development teams, ensures customer satisfaction, and accelerates the energy transition in his region. Nicolas is an active speaker and thought leader in the energy industry where he is passionately promoting the need for flexibility as the key enabler for renewable integration in today’s energy transition and tomorrow’s decarbonisation.
Nicolas graduated with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from National University of Singapore (NUS 2003-2007). He also went on a Student Exchange Programme (SEP) at Institut Polytechnique de Grenoble (INPG 2006). During his 4 years at NUS, he lived on Kent Ridge Campus (Prince’s George Park and King Edward VII Hall).
