Aaron Lim
Alumnus, Psychology, Class of 2020
Aaron completed the Concurrent Degree Programme at NUS, studying Psychology with a focus on quantitative methods. He started his career at Grab as a Behavioural Scientist and later joined Dyson as a Data Scientist. His roles required him to utilise his expertise in Data Science and Psychology to generate valuable insights and strategic solutions for businesses. His unique blend of knowledge allowed him to become an expert in understanding and manipulating human behaviour using data, as well as running experiments to validate hypotheses and quantify the impact of initiatives at his companies.
Kenny Chong
Alumnus, Physics, Class of 2017
Kenny graduated from NUS with a degree in Physics and Mathematics. Through NUS Overseas College programme, he did a data science and product internship at Israel, where he applied data science in the sports domain.
Furthering his data science interest, Kenny started his career as a freelance Data Consultant, partnering with a hospital to implement AI-powered colonoscopy analysis. He then transitioned to a 0-1 AI startup (i.e. pre-seed to Series A), where his skills were applied to designing and optimising machine learning algorithms for HR process improvement.
Kenny is currently a Data Scientist at Dyson, focusing on Energy Storage.
