Navigating and Networking Effectively at NUS Postgraduate Career Fair 2024

This workshop equips attendees with the skills and information that will help maximise their experience at the career fair.

The workshop aims to help students appreciate the importance of preparing for the career fair, managing first impressions, asking insightful questions, and demonstrating attentiveness and interest in an employer’s offerings. In addition to offering practical tips and strategies for effective networking, the workshop will also provide a detailed overview of the NUS Postgraduate Career Fair 2024, including the set-up of booths and activities, so that the students can navigate the fair easily.

Students will learn how to:

• Prepare for the career fair such as researching attending companies and setting clear objectives
• Introduce and present oneself effectively, establish relevant connections and enhance their prospects for career advancement and job opportunities
• Navigate the career fair easily by learning more about the career fair and what to expect on the event day
