Delivered in an interactive format, the Heart of Leadership programme comprises a series of four compulsory workshops, and deep dives into the core ingredients for effective leadership, equipping participants with the skills and attributes to create lasting impact.
Heart of Leadership workshops are conducted by established senior executives who have on average more than 20 years of work experience. Students have the invaluable opportunity to be mentored, in small groups, by these industry mentors. They learn from actual work situations and experiences, gleaning key life skills that are valuable for success at the workplace and beyond.
Each three-hour workshop will include a group mentoring session with an assigned mentor. There will be a total of four such sessions over four Saturdays.
Topics include:
- Discovering purpose; redefining success
- Personality differences and EQ
- Trust and integrity in practise
- Servant leadership
Applicants will be selected based on:
(1) Timely submission of latest resume for mentor-mentee matching purposes
(2) Commitment to attend all four workshops
There will be one run of this programme each semester. Registration for AY2024/25 Semester 2 will close on 27 Dec; while registration for AY2025/26 Semester 1 will commence in July 2025. Please look out for the email invitation.
