Embrace Change Management for Career Success

Change is a constant across many domains of life today and hence gaining the foundational capabilities to manage change effectively will enable you to succeed in your chosen career.

This workshop is designed to introduce to students the topic of foundational change management, so that students can be equipped with the right mindset and tools to navigate change successfully.

What you will learn:

  • Introduction to Change Management: Students will learn that change is permanent, and skilful approach is necessary
  • Change Management Foundation: Students will learn about useful foundational methodologies and how they can be applied
  • Tools for Change: Students will be equipped with tools that help them such as: Conflict Management, Change Charter, and Engagement & Enabling Roadmap
  • ACMP Organisation: Participants will receive information where they can learn more and how to dive deeper into Change Management Skillset

From the start of his career, Tim was at the forefront of digital transformations. Today, he has over a decade of experience as a change management practitioner. He is working with teams to accelerate innovation and operational excellence; as a result, improving their agility and effectiveness in today’s dynamic and competitive business environment.

He has been working in manufacturing, consulting firms, and the financial services industry in a variety of functions: manufacturing excellence, knowledge management, research and development, product development, agile coaching, etc. In his current practice, he is focusing on leadership development with a focus on ‘enabling teams to give their best’. With Hive17 he is supporting mid- and senior leadership teams to build highly effective teams based on the key elements of giving direction, understanding creating value for clients, scientific experimentation, and building strong relationships and culture. In his engagements, he is highly leveraging technology to enhance the
learning experience.

Annie Lynn Chong

Global IT Director at Illumina
Annie is a collaborative IT leader with over 30 years of experience in Organization Change, Portfolio, Project, and People management with extensive global and regional experience. She advocates passionately for diversity, corporate social responsibility, and cultural intelligence, forging high performance matrix teams by bridging global and Asian cultures while driving innovation and positive change in the tech industry.

She is currently the Head of IT with a top life science company as well as a global IT leader in the manufacturing domain. Outside of work, Annie is the founder and President of the Association for Change Management Professionals (ACMP) Singapore Chapter.
