To thrive in today's global workplace, future professionals need more than technical skills. They must understand influence, organisational interdependence, and cultural adaptability to effectively navigate diverse work environments.
In this workshop, students will learn to:
- Build Influence in Business: Strategies for influencing peers and leaders, with an emphasis on effective communication and building credibility
- Understand Organisational Interdependence: The interconnected roles of departments including sales, marketing, finance, and HR, as well as the collaboration between global, regional, and local levels and how each part contributes to a cohesive strategy
- Develop a Global Mindset: An introduction to international work cultures, values, and priorities so that they can understand what it takes to work with global colleagues and be adaptable, as well as potentially consider opportunities beyond their home country
