The Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. (CHAI) is a global health organization is committed to saving lives and reducing the burden of disease in low- and middle-income countries. We work with our partners to strengthen governments and the private sector to create and sustain high quality health systems that can succeed without our assistance.
Today, CHAI operates over 35 countries across the world and more than 125 countries have access to CHAI-negotiated price reductions, vaccines, medical devices, and diagnostics.
Current programs at CHAI include HIV/AIDS, Malaria, Tuberculosis, Hepatitis, Maternal, Newborn and Reproductive Health, Diarrhea and Pneumonia, Nutrition, Vaccines, Health Financing, Health Workforce, and Cancer. CHAI also has a number of experts working across the organization to help shape global markets, to negotiate lower prices for drugs and health tools, provide clinical support and knowledge, and utilize the latest and best data and analytics to shape decision-making. About the Speaker
Yuhui Chan – Manager, Country Support and Strategy – Global Hepatitis Program
Yuhui Chan is a dedicated public health professional currently serving as Manager of Country Support and Strategy for the Global Hepatitis Program at the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI). In this role, she provides strategic and technical guidance to hepatitis programs across Asia and Africa, on program implementation aspects including policy, monitoring and evaluation, procurement and supply chain, and advocacy for financing. Yuhui oversees a team and leads program operations. Yuhui was based in Cambodia and Vietnam from 2018 to 2023 before relocating to her home in Singapore.
Prior to CHAI, Yuhui was a Senior Investment Associate at Cambridge Associates, where she managed institutional client portfolios, conducted due diligence, and developed investment strategies. She has also advised non-profits on impact assessment and strategic planning. Yuhui holds a BSc in Social Policy & Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Passionate about continuous learning, she has taken a sabbatical to explore diverse interests, including improv and culinary arts.
